Default Redstone I Campground, Colorado

If you have not been to Redstone Campground, you should make your reservations now. This is one of the nicest National Forest Campgrounds in Colorado and the Town of Redstone (about 1 mile away) is spectacular. There are four restaurants a general store and liquor store and numerous art shops. If you haven't done the Redston Castle tour it is a must see. Redstone campground sits at the base of red cliffs and next to the Crystal River behind the town of Aspen and below the town of Marble. The campground has showers and composting toilets that do not smell. If you haven't been, the campground requires reservations and is booked solid from Memorial day to Labor day. You may be able to just drop in and find a spot during the week, however weekends are full all summer long. There must be a reason this National Forest campground stays full. You should visit to find out why.
