TM changed the mechanism in this area more than once, and I am not directly familiar with the one in your picture. More commonly, raising the bathroom walls presses down on a push button switch. Do you have a picture of how the switch in your unit is activated? I guess I don't understand how a rock does the job.
With the bathroom collapsed, and the bed mostly (but maybe not entirely) extended, can you lift the forward edge of the bed?
