I have a 2011 Mercury Mariner as a TV and a TM 2916. I towed it from Orlando to Virginia and back at Christmas. Fully loaded, both car and TM, at 60mph I got 21 mpg. Over 60 it would drop to 19. Normally I range from 24 to 25 mpg. I too did not feel the big boys when the passed. The TM is an easy trailer to tow.
