Thanks everyone for their replies. It does sound like the trailmanor will get much better mileage than a more traditional tt and will tow safer. I kind of had that feeling.

I'm going to the rv show in Charlotte tomorrow to see if there is anything "new" from any manufactures. I'm not holding my breath as I've been scowering the web and really haven't seen anything to make me think there will be something better out there.

If anyone else has mileage stories I would still love to hear them. In the meantime, let the search for a trailmanor begin.
