I'll join you in the anomaly corner. I think our numbers are about 16/13, although that was in a hilly part of southern California.
A couple interesting sidenotes. We have one of those fancy mpg meters so we can watch it in real time. Simply turning the air conditioner on and off makes more than 1 mpg difference. But if it is hot out, I'll pay the price.
And, as expected, turning off overdrive makes a lot of difference since it increases engine RPM. But in hilly country I turn it off anyway. Gasoline, expensive as it is, is cheaper than transmissions.
