As far as the bars weight rating goes, that's what the dealer (Car Show) sold me and recommended as what works best! another set of bars cost about as much as the whole hitch did!

I had a 1000# rated WDH and it was too strong. At the time, I had an S10 pick-up and I was wishing that the WDH was a little lighter. When I used it with my Silverado, it was ~OK but all that told me was that a lot more weight was being added to the TM axle.
I'm hoping that others will chime in with what they are using, that they are happy with.
