Well, we live in VA and our next mods will be a gray water tow along tank and the grey water heater pad. Temps here get well into freezing in the winter.

As for the feather beds--we have joked about adding the "NASA" foam toppers to ours. But really, from the 8 foot long no frills pop up to a 3023 is a big jump into luxury. (The mattresses are at least three times as dense and twice as thick in the TM.) Not to mention the fact that we can actually take a shower and even wash dishes and our faces without having to heat water on the stove.

I even have a spice rack mounted near the sink for my culinary pleasures.

Luxury--You bet!
