Yep I had the same noise in turns. They said it’s from moisture between the aluminum ball shank and friction cone...

You’ll see a lot of people on a lot of RV forums say the Andersen can’t possibly work. Read a little further, they’ve never used one. I’ve only ever read about one person who bought the Andersen WDH and couldn’t get it dialed in. He was given a full refund. Everyone else I’ve spoken to that has used it, loves it.
