TM's aren't rare treasures that are needles in a haystack. They're a commodity just like cars. Rarer than cars, sure, so you might have to drive a ways to find one, but that's usually no big deal.

I agree, you can spend a long time to find the super deal. But what was the true cost of the super deal, if you lost good camping time and ran all over BFE to look at campers that sound like a super deal, but it turned out to be a POS. It took us about 6 months, but we still had our old camper to use. Figure out the model/years and features you want, plan that you will have to travel some distance to see it and haul it back. We planned a camping trip to see what TM's looked like at a dealer 200 miles away.

In our search for a used TM, we limited our self's to withing 600 miles from the house, and we found our camper about 600 miles away. You most likely will have to travel to buy a used one. Get a lot of pictures and have much conversations about the condition because you don't want to travel for an un-welcome surprise.
