Ummm, as long as the TM is plugged into the tow vehicle, everything should work, including all lights. Interior lights, running lights, and so forth. The problem comes when/if the TM comes uncoupled from the tow vehicle, runs off by itself, and the Bargman puills out of the socket. NOW it depends on the TM battery to activate the brakes, and prevent a tragedy.
Or am I missing your meaning?
