He was lucky - the join wasn't welded. But he still might be able to help you with other issues.

Thanks Bill I just private messaged him so.e questions. I did read his write up. He is very lucky he had no welds to cut out. I am not so lucky as it seems that whoever welded mine did an excellent job. 😬
