I hear ya, Dave. I'm glad I didn't want that type of bed cover when I was looking. The cab height shell makes the F150 look like a Expedition, IMHO. I opted for the Undercover tri-fold hard lid. Secures and locks my gear, folds up to the cab to carry tall cargo and has some of the benefits of less wind resistance, but the best two reasons I like it are, my truck still looks like a truck, not an SUV and it was a third of the co$t of a camper shell.
