I towed an Elkmont 24 from Dallas to Tucson with a 2007 Santa Fe, about 1000 miles.We had been told by Texas RV that the unit weighed only 2500 #. Your hitch is probably a 3500# hitch with a tongue cap of 500#. Does this tell you what you want to know? Besides, the Kia is FW driven. I "used" about 15000 miles of rubber on that 1000 mile trip towing my Elkmont home.
