I have a 3124KS (but not a Honda Ridgeline.)

I have put it on the scale loaded for camping and it is 4500 lbs. We don't camp really light or really heavy. With a 5000 lb towing capacity you would be pretty close but not over. The axle rating for the trailer is 5000 lbs so you would need to stay below that in any case.

I would definitely get a weight distributing hitch. A heavier trailer will give you more tongue weight. I use one with a Toyota Tundra (7200 lbs towing). I got lazy once for a very short tow and didn't hook up the bars. I had trouble with the hitch scraping the ground.

You would be fairly close so you would need to weigh it all.
