I have a 2004 1500 Dodge Ram Quad 2WD 4.7, 3 inch front lift and tow package and a 3023 TM and yes you will need the WD bars and hitch , The truck pulls this camper like a Champ !!!! Travel about 5000 miles camping this summer and still have a few more months too go. With the bed full of wood ,bikes ,coolers ,chairs,screen room,5hp boat motor, canoe on tracrac and anything else the wife tells ME to load!!!!!
