BTW, there have been very few reports of issues with the wood frames. They did a very good job of soaking the frames with some sort of sealer (it may have even been epoxy) before assembly. I have a '98, it has wood frames and no issues with wood rot or structural issues.
I think wood rot on the pre 2001 TM's have more to do with "Where You Live and How Well You Maintain Your Unit" than ANYTHING ELSE!Wood is a lot more upkeep than aluminum.
