I installed them on our last TM. It was very nice. Once they broke in I never had to adjust my gain. Where with the manual adjusters as time went on after I had adjusted them, I was turn up the gain for the wear of the shoes since the last adjustment.

Yes as time go's they will become adjusted spot on. But you must start with them adjusted near to correct. If there is to much slack the adjusters will not turn the adjuster wheel. The self adjusters are slack adjuster and work within a slack range.
