Yes, I think that is the answer. In my 2020 TM, the bathroom wall switch no longer controls the lights in the rear shell since the new LEDs run so much cooler. But I noted that the switch is still there, and still has wires attached to it. I wondered what function(s) it still had - and confirmed that the water heater controller is one such item.
