A week for CA to TN and back? Wow, did you sleep? That's harsh driving. I drove from Vancouver Canada to LA and I can tell you that I wouldn't want to drive that return trip in a week. Two weeks yes.
But it is possible, and I'd consider making the trip, but I'd think you could find something closer. East coast TM are usually less expensive too.
