Definately sounds like your antenna wiring is not right. I am aware of at least 2 other folks where the wiring into the connection on the kitchen cabinet was wired wrong. There should be a diagram in your paper work that shows how the cables should connect. (there are 3 connections with one going to the socket in the back of the unit which probably doesn't work any b etter right now.
