Default tongue frame issue

three night ago I was setting up the TM. The sight was uneven and was in 2 inches of pea grave, very loose small stones. I rode connected my "blocks" and raised the door side tire 2 inches. I then raised my tongue jack. I had the tire on the sink side blocked front and back. The gravel acted like a marbles. There was little friction. The tires rolled off the blocks and the TM did not go back but the other blocked tire acted like a swivel. The tongue jack lurched on the gravel about 3 feet. We set it up once again and on the connecting blocks had a 3 block wide rise. However, our neighbor noticed that the TM tongue was uneven. It bent down right behind the swivel on my swing away tongue. We traveled the next morning less than 2 miles at a max of 15 mph to a welder. The shop put us to the from of the line. They thought it would take 3 hours, took 1 1/2. There was a crack on the other side of the tongue as well. But as you can see the swing away was 3/4 of the way apart before the new welds. I looks like a slow break broke quickly with the "swivel accident". Which may have been a good thing. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Check for small cracks behind the swing away tongue to make sure yours is okay.
