The wall lights might still not come on even rotating the black knob. If after turning the knob with no results, try rotating the bulbs in the sockets. You probably also have on/off knobs on the fixtures themselves. We always try to leave them in the 'on' position, and use the black knob to control the lights.

These 12 volt light fixtures are notoriously finecky. I keep threatening to replace them, as some other members have, but I always seem to find something else that needs attention The ceiling light might just be a burned out bulb.
