It could just be the same manufacturer, but there's an interesting phenomenon going on over the past few years. People arbitrage sales at Walmart, and maybe Harbor Freight, and resell the merchandise on eBay at a markup. It's easy enough to be an Amazon vendor, maybe they do it there as well, but Amazon is probably charging 18% to carry that merchandise. eBay's fees are much better, and it's often a good idea to check there before buying on Amazon, if you don't need the rapid shipping.
A lot of electronic parts are going through Taobao these days. In Chinese. And that is the biggest e-commerce website, English speakers are no longer in the lead. There are whole books written about how westerners can do business on Taobao.
