Congratulations!! I know you will be happy you are in the TM family.

I own a Ford F150 and I think you and I have the same factory hitch. If so it is rated for a 500 pound tongue weight, which is less than most TMs have. I strongly suggest a Weight Distribution Hitch for not only safety but it also balances the weight on all axles and makes for a nicer ride as well. Not to panic, I drove from Toledo to central Florida and back without and did fine, it is just that my 3023 is 750 lb tongue on a 500 rated hitch (that goes to 3 times that rating with a WDH).
