Welcome to TM!

Well, I'm at least north of the 49th. (Does that make me more Canadian than you? (don't worry, I'm only teasing).

My brother in London ON has taken their tent trailer each year. I can ask him exactly where he has been. Honestly, we have spent more time in the USA in our trailer. Camp grounds in BC aren't as well kept as the ones in WA. But, we have had great experiences with Harvest Hosts.

We towed our TM up the Coquihalla and I would never do that again. Mind you, the Tahoe is a little underpowered for hill climbing, but the Coq has very little room to pull over if you have any trouble at all, and traffic whizzes by at 130 km/h in the slow lane, or the semis are whizzing by you. Other than that, it's been great towing. I seem to get about 16-18 l/100km towing, even with an old Tahoe with an old school 5.3L. Not bad for towing something that expands to the equivalent of a 27' trailer!

Enjoy!
