I've been happily surprised by how little gets in while towing. Sure, a little dust, but it's a once over with a damp rag kind of thing.
Real surprised about rain performance. We have towed thru some real rain with nary an issue.
We tow mostly 4 hrs and less, but have gone St Louis to Mackinaw City and back. We haven't towed over gravel roads for any distance more than a big campground.
