Are you sure that you have a 5K# axle?
I have been on the phone with Dexter Axles and the tell me that there is no way that a 5K# axle will work on our trailer. Maybe the 3023 has bigger wheel wells.
I'm thinking about getting a 4400# axle. That would help me rest at ease. We are planning a trip to Alaska in the not to distant future. I want to be sure that the trailer is well suited for that trip.
