Another alternative is to buy another 12-V battery that you could switch over to. We have an extra group-27 that we bought from Costco and bring along when we dry camp.

If you're very conservative with your lights and appliances, your battery may last you longer than you think. I think that the furnace will kill it faster than anything else. We never use it while dry camping. We replaced our most-used ceiling lights with flourescents and only use them sparingly. We all have led headlamps that we can wear around at night; that way your light source goes where you go.
