You're right - repeated clicks won't make it start any sooner. I'm impatient, I guess - I click it 4 or 5 times, then wait 10 seconds and click it four or five times again. I'll be more patient.
Digger -
Turning the thermostat up won't increase the gas flow. The gas valve is either ON or OFF - there is no in-between setting. Like me, you are impatient and seeking a faster solution. And by doing this, it feels like you are doing something to help it along. But just like my "4 or 5 clicks", it really doesn't do anything.
