Uh, yeah. I don't think you should ever travel without a jack and a lug wrench - and the knowledge of how to use them if you must. What will you do if you have a flat, either on your car or your trailer? Your car certainly has a jack stowed away somewhere, but that jack probably won't work for a trailer. You need to carry a jack for the trailer, too - many people recommend a 2-ton bottle jack.
