Wink BatteryMinder with SmarTECHnology

The following recommendation is for lead acid(wet cell), SLA and or AGM batteries.

I recommend the BatteryMinder brand of 'maintainers'. These units are designed with
'desulfiator' technology. I have a model 1500(see pic below) which is limited to a maximum
of 1.5 amp charge current. Per their specifications, the charger can be connected for weeks
at a time with no worry of overcharging. As a matter of fact, These units can recover a weak
battery. I can confirm that as I have recovered multiple batteries that were 'too far gone'.
As far as using on our TM batteries, during the winter, I remove the battery and bring it inside
the garage where I can connect the BatteryMinder. In the warm weather months, I have a
cable assembly(see link below) attached to the battery in the TM that allows me to connect
the BatteryMinder from under the rear bumper of my 2006 2720SL. I will pull the fuse on the
charge line from the converter to the positive post of my battery, This isolates the battery from
the TM but can be undone in a matter of minutes to get ready to go camping.

Just my 2 cents.
