I did the poor man's toilet per dudeabides, and it works good.
Your craftsman version with a few more gallons of capacity is a
top of the line model and a work of art!
I also made sure to position the drain valve high to enable draining the tank
into a portable waste tank, if needed. Whenever I see it, I also think that it is
better in that high position and more "out of the way". A cap with a handle on
it helps for a sure grip.
And, the default flush water pressure can be more than needed, at times.
Adjusting the flush water pressure can prevent filling the tank with extra water.
