I make that to be about 42-43 inches and to keep the seal both front and rear must be the same and is also the height increase. Is this the same for all models and the difference is entirely in the middle body ?

The movement of each leg forms a right isosceles triangle and each module side forms a parallelogram. Simple geometry when you think about it. Once designed a die casting ladle that only had one piston using a non-linear movement design but this is much simpler.

OTOH the closed vs open height from the TM web page of a 2720 is 79.5" and 116" ( 2417 and 3124 also) which is 36.5" & is quite different from 42". Where is my error please ?
