I just won a 3023!!

Every year, our church does a raffle during their spring bizarre. And being that it is in the LA area, there are alot of people, and many of them seem to have an inordinate amount of cash to throw around. I don't, but given this year's prize, I jumped. Tickets are $200 each, and the prize is usually something substantial, like a mid-priced car.

This year, at my suggestion (selfless, of course), I suggested a Trailmanor. Seemed like a perfect fit. Alot of the churchgoers have kids, and being in the beach area, lots of people like to be outdoors and go camping. So they agreed!

The drawing was supposed to be on Sunday, but got delayed because they hired a independent company to officiate the raffle on a pro bono basis, and the company had to postpone because they ended up having another event Sunday. So it was held last night.

I just got a call that I won!! The prize is $25k to spend at Custom RV (the local dealer), so I think I am going to get the 3023. Or maybe a 3124KB. Decisions, decisions..... It will be great to have some extra room when we take company along.

WOOOOHOOO!!! I am going out to grab a beer!
