Sleeping configuration TM2619 or 2720

So, if two reasonably sized parents (say < 350 lbs total weight, of which I make up the most) sleep on the rear double or queen bed, and two pipsqueak girls (say < 120 lbs total) sleep on the front bed, is there any concern about the front of the trailer lifting up?

I just don't want to be surprised...

If you have stabilizer jacks down you could never get a sufficient moment arm to be of concern.

We have around 375 in the back of our 3124kb and only 120 up front and the stabilizers keep everyone level... :)

On one occasion, while washing the interior, I was alone on the very back of the rear bed in my 2720, and it felt like the front was about to pop a wheelie.

I now do not do that unless I set the rear jacks down. Problem solved.

I popped a wheelie once in our little Coleman because the jacks were not down. Since then, been religious about putting the jacks down even in the TM.

As a matter of fact, you should be o.k. if you are still hitched to the TV. On occasion we've pulled in to somewhere late at night expecting to pull out early and just needing a few hours of sleep. In that case we don't bother with the jacks and the hitch provides enough stablity. - camp2canoe

The hitch weight is at least 400 pounds. The wheels are located at least 2/3 of the way back from the hitch to the rear end - in other words, there is twice as much length ahead of the pivot point (the wheels) as there is behind it. To me (an engineer) this means that to overcome the 400 pound hitch weight, you would need to add 800 pounds behind the wheels.
