I know that this is probably covered all over, but I can't find exactly what I want. I have a 2720SL. (Had blowout - lost plumbing):eek:
I am going to get the lift kit and then upgrade to non-Goodyear 15 inch tires.
This will improve my load range.

Questions::confused:
What is good brand of tires.
Can I go to the ST225/75 15's:
What is difference between 75D & 75R

Lloyd -

You're right - it has been discussed extensively in the Tires forum. The reason you can't see it is that your membership has expired. If you want to read it all, you need to become a sponsor. Considering the cost of new tires, new rims, mounting and balancing - plus the cost of a lift kit and the means of dealing with the spare tire carrier, you might find the $12 sponsor cost worthwhile.

Meanwhile, I'll say that I am having great luck with my 15" Goodyear Marathons in a P225 size. They have a lot of additional weight-carrying capacity above that of the 14" Marathons. Other brands, as well as the clearance issue, are discussed in great detail in the Tires forum. In addition, some folks have uncovered some 14" tires that seem to be working out well.
