Can't contact Rocky Mountain Ray. Still don't know if I need to remove paint from roof before glueing down aluminum squares. Have tried to remove paint with sandpaper and single edge razor blade scraper to no avail. That TM roof paint is majorly tough. Home Depot is trying to sell me some paint remover that requires I wear a respirator and I do not wish to mess with such dangerous stuff, and just to clean the paint off of 144 square inches of aluminum TM roof.
Surely someone out there has some experience in this process and can advise me as to whether or not to take the paint off my roof.
Please help!
