I recently bought a used (2001 2027sl) and discovered the heater wasn't heating. Investigation showed that the rubber gas line from the propane tanks to inside the shell had been collapsed; apparently by folding the shell. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix???
Thanks,
Joe

Replace the hose (or maybe splice in a new section?) and make sure it is routed so the shell does not pinch it on top of the frame. There might be a rubber pad on top of each side of the 'a' frame where the shell rests. Make sure nothing is between the shell and either the pad or the frame. When we first got our TM I rerouted some hoses and wires in a much more efficient manner than it came from the factory. When I closed the shell I discovered why they were routed that way in the first place and put eveything back as it was!

We accidently drilled through our propane hose when we were installing our 2 6-volt batteries :o live and learn. Good thing the propane was shut off.

I took off the hose and took it down to the nearest propane dealer; they made me an exact replica and I put it back on.
