Looking for Help -- My TM was in storage for 10 months -- I set up and charged battery -- Hooked up to 115 V AC power and it aopears that the Converter does not work as we draw DC from Battery and there is no charge to battery. Took TM 2720 on trip to Wisconsin and had to use D battery powered lamps -- weather in 90's and AIR worked. All fuses and breakers appear OK.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Have you checked the battery fuse? There should be a 30 amp fuse in line with the positive battery terminal.

Hoo boy. If you put the TM in storage for nearly a year, and didn't disconnect the battery, the parasitic loads (they exist in every trailer, not just TM) drained the battery flatter than flat. Most batteries don't take well to this event - many never come back.

When you plug in to shore power, do your inside lights work? If so, the converter is OK. If you disconnect from shore power and the lights go out, then either the battery or the battery fuse is at fault.

So check the fuse, as Dick suggested. Check the water level in the battery. If both of these are good, try substituing a known-good battery - take the battery out of your car, for instance, and install it in the TM. Then, WITHOUT plugging in to shore power, turn on a bunch of interior lights. If they come on and stay on for a couple hours, plug in shore power and confirm that the converter keeps the battery up.

Good luck

There is also an AC circuit breaker that powers the converter. You might make sure all your circuit breakers are "on".
