:)  We can happily report that our trip was uneventful as far as problems are concerned.  We had one acorn nut come out of one of the hinge upper pivet bolts, but we quickly replaced it and tightened all other nuts.  we lost power to the back half of the trailer, but quickly found a loose wire on the bathroom wall interlock switch, which my husband quickly repaired.  The cold water faucet would not work, we found that the screw was missing, so we replaced it.
We were in New England in the rain, New York (lost in Staten Island - don't recommend this to anyone) Major construction from New Jersey to Long Island New York, caused major delays but no problems with the trailer.  When we arrived at the Trailmanor Factory in Tennessee, we wanted a few things done, we had a reversable ceiling fan installed over the bed in the rear of the trailer (never seemed to get enough air back there), and then we had the latches upgraded.  We were extremely happy with the reception we received at the factory.  The president gave us a tour of the factory, and it was amazing how these units are put together.  They were absolutely wonderful to us, and we were in and out in less than half a day.  We arrived in Atlanta, GA, to torential rains, which continued thru our stay in Georgia, and Florida.
We were in Boca Raton, Florida when the "tropical storm" came thru, with 12 inches of rain in 3 days.  We did have a small water leak from the roof area, at the right side of the bed, which we will caulk, it was not a major problem.
We had so much rain that we had mushrooms growing in the seams of the trailer, this is not the kind of weather we are normally accustomed to, since we live in semi-desert.
All in all our unit performed perfectly.  We were very happy to get home, we don't think we could fulltime it, but the unit was wonderful.  We met several people along the way who we invited to tour our unit, and we were stopped at gas stations by people who had never seen a unit, except on paper.
We met one man in Florida, who was from Wisconsin, and very very interested in buying a TM, but had never seen one, he was very excited to actually see one, I am sure he will be a part of this website, as we passed the info along to him.
We really enjoyed our trip, and our trailmanor.
Hope to see some of you folks on the road, we only met 3 owners in RV parks this trip, which was amazing, it was nice to see others who enjoy the unit as much as we do.
Best wishes to all.    Bill and Marion

Bill and Marion

It's great to hear of such a successful trip, particularly from other 3225 owners, as we have yet to see anyone else on the site with that unit.  We chose it because of the ease of access to the storage under the extra long counter tops, and have been very pleased with it.

Could you comment on the ceiling fan?  Is it directly over the bed, or somehow attached to the air conditioner?  I am assuming that it is no bigger than the depth of the air conditioner so that the unit will close  properly.  Having a fan installed might take care of both air circulation and pulling more of the heat toward the rear as well -- Ellen sometimes chooses to sleep on the couch when the furnace is going because less of the heat makes it back to the rear bed.

Looking forward to your response with wishes for continuing good travels,

F. J. & Ellen

:) The fan we got was from Camping World $119.00 reversable, it is the same type as the one in the kitchen/living area, only reversable.  We had it installed to the right of center line (we sleep with our heads at the wardrobe side)
this gives us air circulation, without direct air blowing on our heads while we sleep.   We have found that the a/c is very loud when running at night, so we prefer our fan which is 12 volt and much quieter.  My husband had them power it from the light which is 12Volt, they cut the hole in the ceiling and mounted it into the roof, it is to the rear and right of the air conditioner.  We got the cover (also at Camping World) so that even when it was raining we could use the fan without any problems.  It sure would be nice to hitch up with you guys sometime, it amazes us when we actually see another TM on the road, happy camping.  Marion
