smallest one I have seen is 26 feet open.  Maybe this is an older model?

I have a 1991 tm23 which is the same as a current model 2720.  I think that the one you are looking at would be the same as a 2619 now.  I'm not sure how the older numbers were determined.  Denny

From what I understand, "normal" travel trailers' lengths are measured from the tip of the tongue to the back bumper; of course the trailer box doesn't extend all the way to the tip of the hitch, so the actual box measurement is about 3' less than what the trailer spec claims.

Trailmanor originally used the actual measurement of the open box for its model name.  To make matters worse, or more honest, they rounded down to the nearest foot.  (My 1991 TM23 measures 23'11" when opened).  However, they realized that when people compared a TM23 to a 26' "normal" travel trailer, even though both had the same amount of living area length, people would have the illusion that the 26' trailer was longer.  So Trailmanor began adding 4' to the model number to compensate for this, since the open box extends all the way over to the tip of the hitch.  Thus, my 1991TM23 is now called a 2720.

yes, you're right. i called the factory yesterday, and jimmy davis told me to add 4' to any TM21 or TM23. so the TM21 islike the newer 2518 and your TM23 is like the 2720. thanks for your input.

Can someone here tell please what is the length on the 2619 with the tongue been modified and how much I get by removing the tire from the back, also how easy is to push  the 2619  using a wheel on the tongue on the trailer (garage very tight 3" each side and a little uphill),and are those electric doles really necessary and do they really work??Thank you for your answer

The brochure length is from the rear bumper edge to the front of hitch.  Our TM2720 measures 1" less than specification, i.e., 20'3".  The spare tire on the rear bumper is additional length.

According to a recent factory E-mail, 2' feet can be gained by their hinged hitch modification.

We needed 4" so we have the spare tire and rear bumper modified as removable.

We push a TM2720 into a garage with a hitch wheel and it's a challenge even with two people, although practice helps.  3" on each side in a garage sounds like a problem.  One needs room to place wheel chocks.  One also should fabricate a wheel stop limit, so that the 3,000lb trailer isn't pushed into the rear wall.
