Haven't posted or even been able to read TMOP lately. We had a fire in our home last December and lived at Hampton Inn for 6 weeks and then in a rental house until June 15. During the whole period, our TM was the Construction Trailer Office, set up with phone, computer and place for my husband to meet with the contractors restoring our home, and continue some measure of his engineer consulting work. Since June 15, we have been sleeping there also. It has served us beautifully and was our home, away from home, right in our own driveway. We live on acreage, so no neighbor complaints. Our furniture comes back tomorrow and Friday. Perhaps, we'll even get to take her back out on the road again this year. During the past 6 months, some critter decided that our TM tasted pretty good and ate foam off of the back. We have the new piece, but haven't had time to replace it yet. It's good to hear you all talk about going on trips. We did celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary 2 weeks ago. Now, back home and a trip to the Current River and all will be well with our world. Sorry to hear about your house fire, what a drag! But it's good to hear that you are ready to move back in.

Hopefully you will be able to spend some quality camping time in your TM this summer.

Congratulations on your 50th! I think that you definitely need to take a camping trip to celebrate. :)

I'm sorry to hear about the fire in your home. It sounds as if no one was injured and that's always a good side of any disastrous occurrence.

Congratulations on your 50 years of marriage. A sound marriage like yours is a foundation that can't be shaken by a disaster of any magnitude. Thank your TrailManor for doing double duty for you.
