Has anyone been to any of the Sturbridge MA campgrounds, particularly Quinebaug Cove?  If any of you have been can you please write back and let me know how the campground was?  Thanks

I haven't been to any campgrounds in Sturbridge. But I hear that Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is not very good so you may want to avoid that campground. You can see two other camper's opinions of the campground at:

You may want to try posting your question on Pop Up Times message board for the North Eastern States at:

Sturbridge, MA was the first night camping in my TM after I bought it. I first stopped by the KOA. I was very disappointed it was trashy looking. The pool was pea-soup green and the pump was running and the gate was open. Come on in! There was a beer can sitting by the door to the office. There was a guy out front working under the hood of his truck.  Moved on to Wells SP. No hookups there, but it there were spacious lots and it was very woodsy and nice. I know I'm late for this post, but hope this helps someone. By the way, if you take the first exit off I-84 after getting off the Mass Pike you will be heading toward downtown. The campgrounds ain't there. You may want to call ahead for directions.

My wife and I stayed at Quinebog Cove in October 2001 and it was nice.  The pool was not open and it was definitely "off-season", but we found it clean.  Would stay again if we have the opportunity.  By the way, I heard thay Yogi Bears was also not too great.  We took a ride by there after we had setup our TM 3023 and it was not too appealing from the outside.
