How much storage space do you have when the camper is in the down position?

As much as you do when it is open. You just have to move things around to how you want them when you use them. Microwave and tv from floor to counter top.

I expect that is about as good an answer as you will get. We have found that the 2720 is too limited for us, but then we would like to carry art supplies, quilting supplies, and music insterments, stands, etc. in addition to hiking boots, cameras, folding tables, chairs and other camp stuff. Aside from sleeping and eating two meals a day we spend very little time in the TM but that means we carry lots of stuff for outside.

Hope this helps a little.

Tracker,

Like Windbreaker said you do have a good amount of storage when the TM is down but you may have to move things around a bit. Anything in drawers or cupboards below the half-height mark can stay put. Generally anything above needs to be moved, but there is a good amount of floor space for stuff. In our 2720 with 4 people we have some room to spare with the TM down on a 7 day trip with some stuff being stored in the back of the tow vehicle.

There are at least a few, and probably more, discussions on the forum regarding weight of the TM fully loaded with camping gear. Do a search for this topic if the things you are wanting to store add a fair amount of weight.
