I don't know anything about the 2 search engines you noted, but I did use RV Trader Online to buy a 2004 TM this summer. It was 2000 miles away and proved to be a real adventurous summer vacation. The site is on the cover page of this forum. Type in the make and model number you want to narrow the responses. The folks on this forum helped me a lot in getting a good price, selecting a model, and doing some minor repairs. I had sent emails to all dealers with the model I wanted and gave a price I could pay. On my first phone contact with the dealer, he wanted to know what it would take to buy it today. He met my price, made the trip very worth while, and threw in a 4 yr extended warranty to aleviate some fears.

You usually don't know anything about the seller. Its not like other web transactions where you have buyer feedback to look at. In my case, the unit was said to be showroom condition and less than 1 year old. The dealer seemed very concerned to make everything right, possibly to avoid a bad reputation on the web. All went very well and I would certainly do it again.

Be sure to do your homework.

I love my TM. :)
