.... moderator versus site sponsor?

They are unrelated. A Site Sponsor is anyone who has paid the $12 annual dues - the dues are used to pay for the site's expenses, such as web hosting, and the new software that is coming on line now. Sponsors are entitled to full access to the entire content of the site, including the in-depth technical areas. Non-sponsors have somewhat limited access.

Moderators are something new to the board. There are four moderators, and their function is to help Chris migrate the content and organization of the board from the old and increasingly-unsatisfactory forum software to the new format that Chris is bringing online now.

Incidentally, this is an all-volunteer board - no one is paid.

Thanks to all for your efforts on our behalf. The new organizational format looks like it will be a huge improvement, but a lot of work for those involved with geting it done.

Well, and I want to thank my moderators, and the whole community for continuing to make the dream a reality. The moderators have really come through with their help. I am continuing to work on getting the forum completed with the new features, and to see what makes sense for us. There is SOOOOO much available for the new board that it takes a lot of time to go through it.

Thanks again for everything you do for the boards - all of you. Site sponsors for your generosity, all of the posters for their help, knowledge etc. I have some stuff left over from my wife's board - Maybe we'll make up some T shirts for the moderators and the top posters.

Thanks
Ct..
