Hello Everyone,

Has anyone added a propane bottle cover to their TM? Does the factory make one available?

Thanks, David

I added one of the hard side plastic dual propane tank covers last year, complete with the lid so you can reach the tank handles. It sure does keep em cleaner...

Only downside is that it's now harder to see the tank level indicator, and it's a bit tougher to hook up my bar-b-que hose, but oh well...

It's a much cleaner look now too.

Gregg,

Where did you get the cover? Is it from the TM factory? ??? Will it cover 30 lb bottles or only the 20 lb bottles?

We bought a soft-sided on at the local RV dealer (not a TM dealer). The top zips off to provide access, and there is a zip at the back for connections. Not expensive, but I can't remember the cost. I felt uncomfortable about having the bottles completely open to the rocks, etc and get blown up from the tow vehicle. The one we got works with 2-20 gal bottles, but they make them for 30 gal too.

Can you provide any additional information on the manufacturer? This product sounds very interesting....Thanks!

There are two types talked about here. I have used both, I started with the soft cover that Pam was referring to, you can see it here: http://www.campingworld.com/browse/products/index.cfm?prodID=1517

Then the hard cover that Gregg was referring to is the one that I currently have and that one can be seen here: http://www.campingworld.com/browse/products/index.cfm?prodID=3953

I hope that this helps.

The hard sided one is probably sturdier, but perhaps harder to open to check connections or levels, etc.

Anyh other advantage of one over the other?
