weight of a 2720sl

looking at a used 96' 2720sl they quoted the dry weight as 2480 lbs. the new ones have a listed weight as 2865lbs. did the older one weight less?

In 2002 the dry wt was listed as 2680. Seems to be wt creep as the yrs, improvements keep piling up.

Go to this FAQ and read. The '96, assuming normal options are included, will likely be AT LEAST 400 lbs more than 2480.
