We bought a 2010 trailmanor Elkmont camper last summer in like new conditon. The original owners (they used it only once!!) removed the factory mattress and replaced it with a blow-up air mattress. It's a pain to set-up and take down. We saw on this site that someone bought a Parklane Eurotop short queen mattress and likes it. My question is: Once you put it on the bed will the bed fold up and store itself away like the ofiginal mattress did? Or is it too thick and you have to leave the bed down all day.... which is a no-no?
Or any other mattress suggestions?

Thanks!

Congrats on your Elkmont!

Can't help you with the mattress though, as ours does not the have the fold out couch/bed.

There's not too many of us here, but good luck with your question.

Perhaps a private message on the board to the person with the Eurotop will generate an email to them?

The first Elkmont we saw at our dealer had the fold out bed. I remember the dealer stating it was an air-type mattress and that made it possible for the bed to fold into a couch.
