Went to Calaveras Big Trees State Park and had a wonderful time ;D. We left late after church on Sunday, so didn't arrive till 6:45pm. A nice family stopped by to admire our TM and wanted to know how long it would take to set up. He just spent 4 hours setting up his camp site. Dave asked if he had his watch to time us. Within 5 minutes we were all done. The man wanted more information about where to get one! The beds were so comfortable and I had more room to sleep in since we were married. The towing went very well and Dave made it into the site on the first try. Their wasn't any hook up and we forget to fill the water before we set up, so we will have to try the showers next trip. We are going camping again in September to a place with partial hook up. Just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful hints they made our first trip safer and less stressful! ;)

It was a great time. Used walkie-talkies and prayer to back into the spot. Kelly said I looked like a pro. (That hand at the bottom of the wheel really makes it easier.) While we were camping we were hit by a pine cone. It left a dent in the roof about the size that a hardball would make. Also when closing up the trailer we were surprised at the amount of dust and sap on the roof. Someone somewhere on this site had suggested a car wash wand brush for sweeping the top before closing. I was glad to have had it. We forgot water but had the broom. This time was sort of like tent camping but having a TM instead of a tent. Next time we will use more of the features in our TM. How long do the batteries last if you aren't hooked up to electricity?
